After months of quite the exhaustive search, it seems that Warner Bros has finally decided on who would pen and direct Suicide Squad 2. The original film of the franchise, Suicide Squad, received a poor critical reception but amassed a global box office of $795 million worldwide. Gavin O'Connor previously directed The Accountant for Warner Bros. starring Ben Affleck and is also working on that film's sequel as well.
