Failure to obtain permission for a rally failed to dampen the enthusiasm during a Pagad rally in Grassy Park and Retreat last night, Wednesday 14 August.
For about 30 minutes the streets resounded with car horns blowing during the motorcade.
Members of the anti-drug movement mobilised the communities in their fight against the scourge of drugs and gangsterism.
A large police contingent was present.
