New Zealand welcomes Admiral Halsey and the men of U.S. warships. The U.S. visitors arrive in Aotea Quay Wellington after visiting Australia to commemorate the Coral Sea Battle (1942). They are celebrating war time comradeship between New Zealand and the U.S. Admiral Halsey meets with New Zealand's Prime Minister, Chief of New Zealand Naval Staff and the Minister of Defence.
