The Xiaomi Mi A1 Special Edition Red variant features are same. The variant has specifications identical to the original Mi A1 that was launched in India back in September. The Xiaomi Mi A1 runs Android 7.1.2 Nougat operating system with stock UI and features a 5.5-inch IPS display with full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) resolution. The handset is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC, coupled with 4GB RAM.
Xiaomi has provided a dual camera setup on the back of the Mi A1 with two 12-megapixel image sensors - one with a wide-angle, f/2.2 lens and in 1.25-micron pixel sensor and the other one with an f/2.6 aperture telephoto lens. This new camera system offers 2X optical zoom. Additionally, the smartphone has a 5-megapixel camera sensor on the front with a real-time beautification mode.
The Xiaomi Mi A1 (Review) comes with 64GB onboard storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB). It offers 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack as connectivity options. Besides, there is a 3080mAh battery.
