Gaza faces escalating Israeli attacks: Refugee camp, ‘humanitarian zone ‘ targeted

Al-Jazeera's Hani Mahmoud reports from Deir al-Bala on the escalating Israeli strikes in Gaza. Over the past 12 hours, at least 18 people have been killed, mainly in Nuseirat refugee camp and southern Gaza. Attacks have intensified, causing civilian casualties and internal displacement. In al-Mawasi, designated a safe zone, attacks persist, claiming eight lives in makeshift shelters. Health facilities like Nasser Hospital are overwhelmed, struggling with limited staff and resources amid ongoing assaults. Al-Aqsa Hospital in Khan Younis faces similar challenges, operating under severe shortages and documenting deteriorating conditions inside.
