#Empong monastery is considered by the local people as 'Ti Met' (holy place) as it is believed that the statue installed in there has special power's


#Exotic place, feels sacred. As per the monk we met, the statue of the Buddha there is from 13th century,it was brought by the tribes from Myanmar who migrated overtime to Arunachal. Local people call it,'Prarthana Siddhi Monastery' . There are two river streams with crystal clear water and crabs would come to take food from your hand. Fishing and killing is prohibited in these rivers as the place is considered holy.
Must visit place with its lush green forest and cross criss canals around paddy fields.
