As you all know, KISS is my favorite band. I've seen them in concert, have 3 shirts, do the face make up, go to tribute shows and even have a KISS bass strap (on the Jackson I now keep tuned in Eb). Well, back in 2018, I was listening through all of their albums. I was really exploring the band's discography and I found The Elder. I absolutely love this album. I liked it enough to learn how to play "I" as soon as I finished listening through for the first time, and put the cover up on YouTube (It's a terrible cover btw. I was just using what I had with me at the time). This song stuck out to me as a good Gene ballad, since we don't have many of those. My best friend at the time thought it was a cheesy song, but I like it. It's really simple, but I think that falls under KISS. Keep It Simple Stupid, or some people say Keep It Super Simple. A lot of times the best solutions are the simplistic ones. They are efficient and elegant, much like this song. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I do. You also might be wondering why the background changed from N.I.B. to this one. Well, this was a backup video from Samboat's Summer of 69 Bass Covers just in case there was a copyright issue or sound issue on one of the songs. Since we had none, it's one I can put out now for you all while working on more requests :)
