FlexiFresh is an eco-innovation developed for Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025, aligning with India’s vision for sustainability, safety, and innovation.

Every year, India loses over 40% of its food due to uncertainty about freshness. FlexiFresh solves this through a biodegradable, color-changing sticker that shows whether food is fresh, warning, or spoiled — using natural pigments from turmeric and hibiscus, not electronics.

⚙️ How It Works

FlexiFresh detects gases released during food spoilage (CO₂, NH₃, amines) and changes color accordingly: 🟢 Fresh → 🟡 Warning → 🔴 Spoiled
