Former L.A. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa says the Democratic Party aren't listening to the concerns of Latino voters & many non-college educated whites.

Villaraigosa is running for California Governor.

He broke with his party to support Proposition 36 in California, which increases penalties for repeated theft and drug crimes. Voters sided with Villaraigosa overwhelmingly.

He says the party is out of touch on trying to potentially close oil refineries, which would kill union jobs and increase prices at the gas pump for millions of Californians.
