Catch. clean, and cook crab at Nehalem Bay in Oregon!

October and November are our favorite times to crab at Nehalem Bay. We try to avoid days where it's been raining a lot for several days beforehand. The lower salinity seems to push the crabs out. Start crabbing an hour or two before high tide, and crab through to the outgoing tide. Usually your best crabs will be found right at slack tide as close to the ocean as you're able to go.
