You can massively power her down by exchanging the white hanafuda cards to black hanafuda cards and drain the pillbox gauge.
Every time you use pillbox skills, the gauge will begin to fill up again.
Beating a full power Kama from the start with a full gauge pillbox is next to (if not straight up) impossible barring repeated revivals with Command Seal / Quartz.
