Presidential biographer Jon Meacham talks with Marcia Franklin about the qualities he believes make a successful president. Mr. Meacham won the Pulitzer Prize for his biography of President Andrew Jackson. His most recent book was "Destiny and Power," a biography of President George H.W. Bush. He was in Boise in October, 2016 to deliver the keynote address at the Idaho Humanities Council's annual Distinguished Humanities Lecture.
