Ep033 11 kts Riding the Gulf Stream, Broken Shroud, Torn Sail...400 mile passage to the USA!

We leave the Bahamas for a 400nm passage to Charleston, SC using the Gulf Stream to whip us north at 11 kts before the wind turns against us.

After a rough start the previous episode we find our headsail is torn, then during this passage one of the chain plates pops out of the deck! More things to add to the list, oh well that's #boatlife but we're super excited to have sailed to the States all the way from little old Devon, UK.....
