The World RC Invitational, featuring 10 of the best RC pilots globally, including five world champions, takes place every Father’s Day weekend at the Moses Lake Airshow at Grant County International Airport (MWH).

Event organizer Terry Quick is dedicated to bringing RC to the forefront, making The World RC Invitational a primary attraction at the Moses Lake Airshow. Last year marked the construction of a massive 1,250' x 85' RC runway parallel to runway 4/22, likely the only dedicated RC runway at an international airport. However, only Invitational Pilots are permitted to fly here, ensuring a show you won't want to miss, with performances by the world’s best professional RC pilots.
During last year’s airshow, the Moses Lake RC Modelers delivered a proof-of-concept demonstration, which captivated the audience and solidified the event's future.

The airshow offers a unique experience: attendees can drive into the airport, park on the runway, bring their coolers, and enjoy an action-packed three-part event. The program includes the National STOL competition, the World RC Invitational, and the full-scale airshow.

A special acknowledgment goes to the Moses Lake RC Modelers, who play a crucial role in the event’s success. Besides entertaining the crowds, they provide numerous aircraft for static displays and staff the booths, sharing their passion for RC with all attendees.
