The Most POPULAR Tent in the WORLD? X-MID PRO 2

Is the X-MID Pro 2 the most popular tent in the world? The demand this tent is experiencing seems to suggest it is. Having just received one myself I take a look to see what makes the Durston X-Mid Pro worth the Hype.

“There is really only one factory in the world that builds the highest quality bonded DCF tents, so the X-Mid Pro is built at the same factory that builds most of the high quality DCF tents on the market today (e.g. Tarptent, Locus Gear, Big Agnes, Samaya, Gossamer Gear and others). Even the companies who build elsewhere (e.g. HMG, Zpacks) still use this exact seam tape. As such, the materials, and construction techniques used in the X-Mid Pro have a long and proven history, so I am confident there is no widespread quality issue with the seam tape used in the X-Mid Pro. While the X-Mid Pro is new, thus far we haven't seen any other issues like this. However individual quality issues can exist and for that we stand behind our tents. We apologize about this issue and will readily warranty an issue like this where the tape may have been misapplied.”
