Weekend House in Alibaug by Talati and Partners I maison de week-end

This 15,000 sq. ft getaway home in Alibaug promotes a three-generational living for the jet-setting crowd of Mumbai. Surrounded by lush landscapes and pristine views, the abode binds the indoor-outdoor connection to create a richly layered tale.

There is a profusion of grand openings juxtaposed against unhindered scenic views of the outdoor pool and nature. The sprawling deck spills out of the house. For the home, TPA played with an extensive material palette: stone, WPC, corten steel, metal and wood being favourites—approaching each with an experimental eye that occasioned unconventional outcomes.
