Multi Color Viscosity

Develop your fundamental skills of ink modification and application for viscosity printing. Viscosity inking is a multi-color printmaking technique that allows for printing multiple colors simultaneously from a single matrix. The workshop will also discuss viscosity in relation to the oiliness and or stickiness of a liquid. We will explore the characteristics of inks when modified and layered and how they repeal and interact with one another. This interaction will allow artist to protect areas of the print which can be further worked. Participants can expect to learn methods to build complex images from existing deeply etched copper plates.
