With rehearsals underway and shows coming up I thought it would be a cool idea to get a live take of some of the songs before a rehearsal. Since "Timeless Space (feat. Alex Cohen)" was the most recent release and a quite technical track all around it was only appropriate to capture how Greg (drums) and Davor (bass) have interpreted the song for live performances.
For drums this was a pretty unique song since on the official released version is a combination of both Alex Cohen and myself playing. For the writing process the rhythm guitars and the bass had been written out and recorded and I had sent Alex the song for him to do his take. However before hearing his take I wanted to do a take of my own without any bias or influence from whatever Alex was going to do. For the official version the end result is basically a comp of my take and Alex's take highlighting the best of both takes.
So taking that into consideration when it came time for Greg to learn the song on drums there was quite a bit of information to dissect. Both Greg and Davor have put in a significant amount of dedication and Im happy to have finally captured their take on the song in a studio setting.
