Weir Canyon Trail with California Poppies and Green Mountains

📍 Weir Canyon Trail in Anaheim Hills

This is a nice short hike to nice views of Orange County, LA County, Ocean, Mountains and patches of wild flowers called California Poppies. These orange flowers come out in spring and due to excessive rainfall in winter of 2022-2023 the mountains have turned green and the poppies have been popping out of the ground making for an amazing scenery. This location is nice in that you can see snow capped Mount Baldy, ocean and the mountains along with the city from one location. The canyon is huge and deep and feels like you are in wilderness away from civilization when you are inside of it.

The trail starts here from here where there is free street parking although it could be limited parking due to popularity of this spot amongst locals.
