Volatile Zombies are the worst.

In this part of Dying Light, Crane learned that despite his efforts, Brecken’s mission had failed, and all runners were called back to the tower. When Crane finally met Brecken, he discovered that a man named Rais was hoarding all the Antizin, forcing other survivor groups to negotiate on his terms. Rais had a gang of thugs extorting money in exchange for supplies and protection.

As Crane interacted with people inside the tower, he had to perform various favors and tasks to continue his mission. He found a man selling fake Antizin and, after confronting him, was led to a group producing the fake vials. Meanwhile, Crane managed to secure another safe house in the city for himself and the runners.

Crane was tasked with securing air drops of Antizin. Although one drop was lost, he obtained the exact location of the second one. These air drops, sent by GRE, were vital to ensure the survivors had what they needed while the mission continued. Upon reaching the second location, Crane contacted the GRE, but in an unexpected twist, his handler instructed him to destroy all the vials except five. Despite his confusion, Crane followed orders.

Unfortunately, nightfall came, and Crane encountered the night crawlers and volatiles for the first time, witnessing their brutal aggressiveness and speed. Barely making it back to safety, he returned to the tower, where Antizin was running low, leaving no choice but to negotiate with Rais. Crane offered to go speak with Rais, but Brecken only wanted him to assess what Rais would demand in return for supplies.
