Former Secretary of State George Shultz recounts resolving disagreements within the Reagan administration, and his advice to the President during the Iran-Contra Affair.

George Shultz is the Thomas W. and Susan B. Ford Distinguished Fellow at the Hoover Institution. He served as U.S. Secretary of State from 1982-1987 under President Reagan, and was previously U.S. Secretary of the Treasury, Director of the Office of Management and Budget, and Secretary of Labor in the Nixon administration.

Secretary Shultz is one of two individuals in U.S. history to have held four Cabinet posts, and is a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom. A former professor at MIT and the University of Chicago, Secretary Shultz was also the President of the Bechtel Group.
