Shia Imamah vs Sunni Imamah RESPONSE

The topic of Imamah is the most important difference between Sunnis and Shias. The Twelvers consider this belief to be from the pillars of religion, along with the other pillars of Islam such as the shahada, the five daily prayers, the zakat, the fasting of Ramadan and the pilgrimage to the House of Allah. Since every pillar, except for the pillar of Imamah can be found explicitly established in the Qur’an, Sunnis will often challenge Shias to demonstrate where their innovated pillar of Islam is found in the book of Allah. Today, we will be unpacking the arguments brought forth by the Shia scholar known as Ahmad Salman, who attempted to turn the tables and demonstrate that the Sunni concept of Imamah is Identical to the twelve concept.
