In part 2 of class 7 history chapter 2, we will study about how many dynasties that emerged after the seventh century managed Prashastis and land grants. We will also understand why kings fought wars, like the tripartite struggle for Kannauj, about Mahmud of Ghazni, and the battle between Prithvi Raj Chauhan and Mohammad Ghori. We'll have a look at the origin of the Cholas by Vijaylaya, how they built Thanjavur, the Nishumbhasudidni temple, and how they expanded their empire. Then, we will read about Rajaraja 1 and Rajendra 1 - the two most important and powerful Chola rulers.
