This is my solution to the homework for Lesson 15 of the Raspberry Pi Pico W lessons.

The homework was to build on the class lesson and replace the LED with an RGB LED, then prompt the user for how many different colors they would like to see, get a list of colors from them and then display the colors on the LED.

I used a bunch of the code I'd used in Lesson 12 and applied it here, including the code I wrote for the fun Lesson 13 homework and bashed them together. I took out the color validation code as we haven't covered that yet in class. I did lowercase the input as it makes things easier. Got to use the array.append() function as well (one of my favs).

You may also note the potentiometers in the circuit. These are left over from the Lesson 13 homework and i haven't seen a need to tear them out yet. Still having fun finding color sequences LOL.

I'm looking forward to seeing how Paul will complete the homework.


NOTE:
I started this series about 2 years after it began, so a lot of catching up. I'm also taking the Ultimate GPS course that draws heavily on the Pico W lessons, so I'm bombing thru these as fast as I can to catch up. Also, while I bought the Pico W kit and have the Pico W, I bought the Pico 2 W and am using it here in this series. Should be backwards compatible and function the same with a better CPU and more memory. We'll see! :) Have a few projects I want to use a microcontroller for, so all of this helps to that end.

Still haven't figured out how to use the free video editing tools used to make this video. I am getting better over time but you can only shove so much info into a soup can... Still having a blast tho :)
