The use of a digital computer to process digital photographs using an algorithm is known as digital image processing. It enables the application of a much broader variety of algorithms to the input data and can prevent issues such as noise and distortion during processing. Because pictures are described in two dimensions (or more), digital image processing may be represented as a multidimensional system. The generation and development of digital image processing is primarily influenced by three factors: first, the development of computers; second, the development of mathematics (particularly the creation and improvement of discrete mathematics theory); and third, the increased demand for a diverse range of applications in the environment, agriculture, military, industry, and medical science.
