It’s Christmas season and you can recognize it by one thing for certain nationwide, and it’s the ringing of bells by the Salvation Army collecting money for those in need in their famous red kettles, but did you know that the Salvation Army is at work 365 days a year in 118 countries, spanning everywhere from India and Russia to Guatemala and Rwanda. Here in the United States, The Salvation Army has a presence in more than 1,400 communities.
Whether you're covering disaster relief for area wildfires or want to know more about feeding our community's hungry, sheltering the homeless or mentoring at-risk children, The Salvation Army is here “Doing the Most Good” and thinking of one word in particular… OTHERS.
