Tom is a love bug but people are judging him for being a street cat!

Next Steps Cat Rescue Shropshire - TOM UPDATE ❤️
Tom had a check up for his abscess Wednesday which has healed well.
He was then neutered today and tested for FIV. He was positive which is not surprising as he’s been a street cat for a long time.
Maybe he was loved once? It would have saved him if he had been neutered so he wouldn’t have fought for terrority. NEUTER your cats.
His ears are healing also so he is definitely on the up.
He’s been waiting for a pen as he came in as an emergency so was crated. We need some cats to find homes so he can have one but for now, a lovely volunteer is taking him home to her spare room. ❤️
This means that when he is all better, he will be looking for an indoor only home or with safe outdoor catio or cat proofed garden.
