Often times people tend to shy away from adversity, but unfortunately adversity is something we all will face at one point or another in all aspects of our lives (work, family, social, health). Mike shares the adversities which ultimately led to an amputation of his leg. But instead of letting circumstances define him, he has used them as motivation to meet his challenges and drive through adversities.

Mike has the distinct pleasure in serving as an Assistant Superintendent for the Hilliard City Schools. He has become extremely passionate about CrossFit and has competed nationally as an adaptive athlete. Mike's been active in non-profit work to help fellow amputees, serve as a certified peer visitor for new amputees, and been recognized by the Arthritis Foundation of Columbus and the OHSAA for his courage and perseverance.
