We start with the volcano that erupts with a chemical reaction with Vinegar and Baking Soda, excavate gems from a chalk brick as well as make Goop / Slime with Water, dye and cornstarch.

My review:

Volcano:
The volcano was pretty cool. it comes with enough product to do the project several times. You definitely want to trim some of the bottom of the funnel off in order to get the baking soda into the volcano quickly to get a good reaction.

Gemstone Excavation:

The Gemstone excavation was rather tough even for me. The provided plastic chisel is not strong enough to break through the chalk brick to get the gemstones out. I edited out where I used a screwdriver to breakthrough. It was very tough, to say the least.

Goop:

I remember doing this as a science experiment in high school. We called it Oobleck. It is a dye, water, and cornstarch. This was pretty cool, my kids (5) was not very interested in it because I don't think he understood the science behind it. But the Goop, when moved quickly becomes a solid but is a liquid when moved slowly.

Overall, worth the $20 or so I spent on it to get a few hours of fun with my kid that also comes with enough product to do the experiments several times.
