Italy fans in Bedfordshire ready for Euro 2020 final

(10 Jul 2021) In England's "Little Italy", residents of Italian descent are gearing up for Sunday's Euro football final.
Ever since they first came to work in Bedford's brickworks industry back in the 1950s, the town has supported a sizeable Italian population.
Now many run restaurants and bars there.
At the Castle Deli, decked out with tricolour Italian flags, Italian fans spoke about their hopes for the game.
While they want Italy to win, many feel that they can't lose either way.  
"It would be great to win one of the Euros too. However we are in England and we have English family and English friends so we're a win-win situation really", said Sergio Marinaro.
At the Club Italia, a local working men's club, the decorations are up and new tv screens have been purchased in readiness for the match.
Manager Francesco Derrico said:  "We're getting ready for tomorrow night, it's going to be a good atmosphere.  We're going to have loads and loads of people and it's going to be brilliant.  I can't wait, it's going to be a good match and we'll all enjoy ourselves."
England have never won the European football championships while the Azzurri will be trying to capture their first Euros title since 1968.
