About Mr. Anderson

An independent contractor since 1966, Mr. Anderson has a lengthy background in computer security. He headed a study panel charged with identifying the Research and Development paths required to make secure computers a reality in the USAF. A major result of that study was a report that articulated The Reference Monitor Concept as a model for computer security. He contributed to the DoD Trusted Computer System Evaluation Criteria (TCSEC)(the "Orange Book") and the Network Interpretation of the TCSEC. He has lectured for the DoD Computer Security Center. He is the author of over 200 reports and papers on computer security.
