This is a tribute to the extraordinary composer, performer Lyle Mays. His composition, Chorinho, has been a favorite of mine since the 1st time I heard it on his CD. In this version I have taken the piano part and orchestrated around it with players from around the US providing the tracks. I recorded the clarinet and mixed the project in Pro Tools. The scrolling score offers some insight to my approach. I hope you enjoy it. Lyle's music lives on!
