Have you #3Dprinted anything awesome recently? For us, our recent MAKE was a set of Multicolor PLA Business cards for the Part Detective. We have two versions, one based off a 'private eye' theme and the other based off ‘Ace Ventura’.

The design has been evolving and it’s a great time to review how the material, design, and process varies. It’s a great example of what a “Design” review of “Post-Print Troubleshooting” is like with the Part Detective!

Thoughts on this MAKE:

I’m getting better at design for the Prusa MMU process. I think it applies to Bambu and others too.

But this little learning project is rewarding in a lot of ways.
Quick Print: part in hand in a few hours and can take another attempt same day.
Testing workflow for adding color to models that also 3Dprints well. If done right in CAD (3mf), it takes way less time than selecting individual faces. It can get very time consuming if you take the wrong approach. This helps me test that theory
Joy: Seeing a design I made come to life in multicolor - Nothing beats that feeling.
