The Fluance Powered 6.5" Bookshelf Speakers include a USB Audio input, which allows you to send a high-quality digital audio signal from your computer to your speakers. To do so, plug a Micro USB cable (not included) into the USB Audio output on the Ai60.


This will give you higher quality audio than using the 3.5mm audio connections on the computer. In this video, we will show you how to connect your computer to the speakers and change your audio output settings to use the USB port.

First, connect the USB connection to an available port on your computer.

Next, connect the Micro USB connector to the back of your Ai60 speaker.

Using the source button on the remote, or pressing the volume knob, change the source until the LED is Purple.

On a Windows® PC or Laptop, you may be prompted automatically to change your audio output to USB.

If not, open the Start Menu and click Settings.

Open System.

Along the left side of the window, you’ll find Sound.

The first option will be Choose your Output Device.

You will find Speakers (USB Audio).

Select this to play your computer audio through the USB connection.

For Apple® computers, follow these steps:
Connect the USB cable to the speakers, then to the computer.

If the source is not detected automatically, select the audio source from the list of audio devices.
