Platoon is a mega success of a film made by one of the best in the Hollywood industry. Oliver Stone. And I know I've already done a Vietnam War Movie Platoon show down, but this needed to be filmed. I've been planning this video for years. Born On The Fourth Of July is Oliver Stone's second take on the Vietnam War. I always like to call Born On The Fourth Of July as the sequel to Platoon because they are both so similar. They have a lot in common, included 11 actors ,a director ,writer, and military advisors. And they're both in the Vietnam War Trilogy. So which is the best Oliver Stone Vietnam classic.
