Jason Mraz - No Doubling Back (Sold Out)

Описание к видео Jason Mraz - No Doubling Back (Sold Out)

Hello there strangers. I believe I mentioned that I was going to upload some "Sold Out" tracks, since much of the EP (or live album or whatever you'd call it) isn't on youtube from what I could tell, and I don't imagine it's the easiest thing to find these days. I was listening to it recently for the first time in a while and it's pretty great (shocking, I know). It includes Toca Rivera and plenty of Gregg Gerson on the flute. The version of So Unusual (or Not So Usual, depending on where you look) is on youtube here:    • Jason Mraz-So Unusual   I uploaded the classic longer version of Curbside Prophet that opened the show last year:    • Jason Mraz - Curbside Prophet (long v...

I sincerely apologize for not having uploaded the stuff I hinted at in my last upload quite yet 🤦‍♂️ . It ended up being more writing than I thought as I wanted to elaborate a bit more than I realized once I began to put my personal story down on paper. I've been trying really hard to be more vulnerable and face my fears (easing into it very gradually 😆 ), with my newfound spirituality and rebirth of sorts lately, and I figured I'd tie it in with this gorgeous performance of one of my favorites by Jason, so that should be imminent hopefully!🤞 Plus I've been working on other writing for some other ideas I've been excited/terrified about sharing lol (such as singing or random other projects), but I think it'll be really worth it in the end ☺️

March was also a bit of a roller coaster as I've been a bit up and down. My mom had a brief stint at the hospital as a precaution for her heart, as she had a heart attack early last year and we didn't want to take any chances. It’s especially stressful having someone you love in the hospital these days, but thankfully she was only there about a day and she's doing well. That also happened to fall on the anniversary of the date my dad had gone to the hospital 19 years earlier, and he never came home, so it just brought back some bad memories (plenty more depressing real life stuff to look forward to in that long ass description that I mentioned (likely 3-5x longer than YouTube descriptions are allowed to be 😋), but it shaped my life and made me love who I am today -- finally 😉. Actually, Sold Out came out when my dad was in the hospital, come to think of it.). Then, a couple weeks ago, I had my first real breakup, so that's been interesting and unfamiliar 😕. 3 Things has long been a comforting one to me, and this version was recorded by her the first time we saw Jason together (of 11 total 😛)    • Jason Mraz - 3 Things (live)   I've still been mostly very well though, and think it's gonna be quite the spring...
