So Daigo's hitbox /controller malfunctioned at Evo this year during pools. He quickly recognized this problem within 5 seconds into the first round of his match. Daigo immediately reported it to his translator and she summoned an Evo referee. As a result, he lost the first round based on the Evo rules despite no damage being taken from either opponent. While Daigo was trying to figure out what was wrong with his hitbox/ controller a fan came out of the blue and lent him a fight stick to use for the match. Big shout-outs to the fan.
