Becoming location-independent as a soulpreneur, healer, or therapist

This is what I dreamed of being a digital nomad and traveling the world and this is what we did as a three-generation family from 2018 to 2020.

Me, my mom (79) and my youngest son (14) at the time set off to explore the world. I got us an ex-pat health insurance and signed my son up for an online school.

We had a fantastic trip starting in the United Kingdom. After flying back to the mainland, we drove slowly down from Pisa, Italy to Rome, spending several days to weeks in the various towns and cities along the way. From Rome, we boarded a flight to Cairo, Egypt, and then Luxor. From Egypt, we went to Ibiza, Spain to stay for the winter. The next stop was Delhi and then Rajasthan, India, and from there an extended stay in Dubai which we will always consider our home away from home.

Running an online program in combination with private Soul Embodiment Therapy sessions made it easy to combine travel with working, while also hosting a retreat in India with a team of eleven healers & therapists plus ten clients flying in from all over the world.

A beautiful way to create lasting memories that we as a family will forever cherish. I remember watching my mother then 80 dancing in the streets of Dubai and then playing with her bare feet in the sea and knowing deep inside myself that this was how I was always going to remember her even when she would at some point not be with us anymore.

I didn’t have a year’s income in savings but we went anyway and we were at all times provided for, let this be your reminder to make your dreams come true.

Yes, your business is there to serve others but also to serve you and allow you to live the life you have always dreamt of.

Go make that trip, go emigrate, go follow your heart. honor those deep whisperings of your soul. The world is your oyster, as long as you put on your big girl panties and live your dreams.
