IJN Aircraft Carrier Shōhō 祥鳳 1/700 Hasegawa

Shōhō was built as the submarine tender ship Tsurugizaki in the 1930s. She was converted into a light aircraft carrier begun in 1941 and completed in early 1942. Eventually, she was sunk on her first combat during the Battle of the Coral Sea, 7 May 1942. She was the first Japanese aircraft carrier to be sunk in the Pacific War.
