I was searching for a toy to slow down my dog, Butters, when eating, as he’d gulp his food so quickly he’d start coughing. I found the Kong Wobbler and have had it for several months and use it for each of Butters' meals. But I always make sure he eats it outside with the dog door closed so none of my other dogs try bullying him for his food (which has happened in the past). I believe that the Kong Wobbler is a lot of fun for him because he doesn't feel pressured to choke down his food as quickly as he can.

I bought the small version as my dogs weigh less than 25 pounds. If your dog weighs more, you’d buy the large version. This toy might not work well if you plan to use dog kibble and your dog doesn't ravage his food (like my dog, Charlie). Also, if you have a multiple dog household, make sure no other dogs are around when one is using it. They used to sell a countertop Kong Wobbler Dispenser; it held three wobblers that would drop the wobbler at scheduled times (which I think would be AMAZING for single-dog househoulds). However, that item is discontinued. I’m guessing it was either too expensive or it caused too many dog fights!
