Solo Contessa 26: Sailing SV Black Lotus to Thompson Island with Rupert

Finally getting some decent time off work! Enough so I've gathered enough energy to make an effort to film my messing about with the wind and boats. After putting this together I'm feeling I should do this more. Someone might find this interesting and helpful... maybe even entertaining.

Anywho... This time around I sail to Thompson Island with my trusty companion... before nightfall... because my nav lights intermittently work. An electric gremlin somewhere... so to make sure I get there by then the yanmar is assisting me maintain hull speed most of the way. A good shakedown... seems like thats always the case. Are all my sails just shakedowns?

And... Sorry my battery ran out on the camera! so I missed out on the mainsail take down and docking lol. Probably a good thing. Solo sailing is already enough and trying to film it is another thing to worry about.
