This video takes you through setting a Git repository to public and web enabled and getting URL for the web page to test.
Then it takes you to Freenom https://my.freenom.com where you can get your own free custom domain.
It takes you through the steps for the settings to make your custom domain active. BUT, it is an HTTP site, so not secure.
To make it a secure site we go through the process of linking the custom domain name to Cloudflare https://dash.cloudflare.com so that 1/ It manages your content by storing it around the world on different servers, as well as creating an HTTPS site which is secure.
You can also use AWARDSPACE https://www.awardspace.com/free-hosting/ to host a completely free Wordpress site (with database) that takes 5 minutes to install & setup, which would be the next step after a static website. It has an email account attached to it and also free custom domain (but not very pretty ones)
