Be reminded that all videos only recorded Ms So's teaching, not the replies of the students or other teachers/guests.
Videos either use English or Cantonese mainly but might use both languages together for the benefit of the students, not because of the HK custom to mingle English with Cantonese.
Please refer to the pronunciation table (Cantonese Syllables) in the resources below and pay attention to the followings when you listen to the pronunciation teaching videos:
1. For the benefit of the beginners, the teaching videos on basic sounds mainly use tone 1 but sometimes might use any tone.
2. The choice of words mainly follows the words in the pronunciation table but not all.
3. Some sounds have no written words or the words are not frequently used nowadays or a word might have different sounds and meanings or the sounds and tones might have changed.
4. There are more videos coming for more advanced learners in learning exact meanings and usages for different words with different sounds and tones. Please follow.
