This time capsule of a house as been around for a while now.
Once home to Henry Senior, and Harry (son) the later Henry Junior, this home is very mixed in the way it looks. Its almost like there is 3 mixed generations of items, décor and workshops.
Looks like neither father, son etc. wanted to remove items from the previous generation (Which I totally get by the way!) Hen why a lot of fellow explorers get confused on its history.
Also called the bird cage house, but the cages were situated outside and brought inside for effect for photos etc.

There is titles for e.g. Bank tellers, engineers, farmers etc.
But the main occupation of the Ivy house is a Farm, a poultry farm to be more accurate. So Chickens, Pigs etc...

The Winstanley family name is very popular in recent finds and locations and chances are yes they were either part or married in part the family there. The family its self also had another property called Dorothy farm which is not a million miles away from the Ivy House itself. And there locally is a grand hall that was built and designed by the same architect behind both Dorothy Farm and Ivy House.
Henry the first (Senior) was married to a lady of the name Dorothy hence the forwarding name of the farm.
And his son Henry who all lived in the Ivy house. Sadly both Henry and Harry died within weeks of other. But there was another youngster of Harry who was alive then and his name being Henry Junior.

On our first visit there was a lot of items and information dating to all members and obviously some confusions were around the two Henry Winstanley names. There is 2 of them hence the 2 different time periods.

Sadly has time has gone on and in typical abandoned, derelict or empty places, damage is becoming ripe.
All started going down bank when a paranormal wanabee by the slight hint of a name 'Exploring with D....' went into the property and for effect started damaging the property then spray paining satanic signs on the wall and dressed up. To be honest its beyond adult thought patterns to why, and more why people encourage it. Then one of the outside buildings were set on fire and then the stained glass windows smashed by the front door.

Bare in mind this location is not in the middle of a populated area and in general not really a place local kids would go to. So leave that thought with you on who or the likeliness is who caused damage.

We are lucky to of visited the property when it first came on the seen. Infact its one of our first ever videos.

But we have decided to focus on this location and we are armed with a lot of information of the location, family and tragic past. Watch out for our next videos that are more in-depth.
