The crocodile ridge braid is quite an exotic braid. It resembles the back of the crocodile. It seems like a mix of flat braid with a round braid at the center.

I have been deterred from this braid for quite a while, it seemed hard. But once you break it down it is extremely easy and well worth learning. In this video we take a look at the 6 stranded version.

This style of braid is often used on belts, especially Australian style ones. A dog leash handle using the braid would also look nice.
