Out of the Box Rossi RS22M - .22 WMR

This is more of a want than a need!! I had been shopping for a semi-auto 22 WMR, but not did not put a lot of effort into it as I already have a 22WMR bolt action that I can use. In GA to hunt the wild pigs on a WMA during small game season you have to use a small game weapon. I know a 22 LR can kill a pig with the correct shot placement, but a 22 WMR should be a little more effective. Having that round in a semi-auto to allow for really fast follow up shots also makes you feel more comfortable as well. In the best-case scenario, I'd rather just have a good center fire high power rifle, but as stated on the WMA during small game season that is not allowed. That is also why it is a want more than a need as I don't have to hunt the WMA for wild pigs but given the abundance of opportunity, I like to take advantage of the situation. With that, when my local gun shop had this on the wall for just over $200.00, I went ahead and grabbed it. It sure is fun shooting the 22 WMR in a semi-auto platform.
