What have I learned over my nearly thirty years as a beauty editor? The best beauty hacks; the quick fixes, sneaky tricks and best products to use in a hurry. And the same can be said of one of my all time beauty best friends Jo Jones. Jo runs the beauty division of a huge beauty pr agency, started and writes Beauty Wire a free app that you can download to stay in touch with what's going on with her beauty clients AND just founded The Beauty Banks, a brilliant charity that aims to end hygiene poverty by supplying toiletries and sanitary wear to people in need in the same way that food banks supply food. She is an all round ace human being, and funny.

Honestly it works.

* Turmeric Face Mask
Mix a tablespoon on turmeric in enough full fat milk to make a paste. Slather it on clean skin and leave for fifteen minutes. Rinse well.
Jo says it works ... so I'll leave it at that.

* Aspirin on spots and dandruff. Again crumble a plain aspirin in water to make a paste and leave on spots overnight. Or crumble two into water and spray onto your scalp for dandruff and leave overnight.
