Goh Lay Kuan was the principal dancer of Ballet Victoria in Australia before she returned to Singapore in 1964. In 1965, she married theatre doyen Kuo Pao Kun and they founded the Singapore Performing Art School. She is the recipient of Cultural Medallion in 1995 for her dedication to art and culture in Singapore. Presently, she is the artistic advisor of The Theatre Practice and teaches the Playin-Arts programme she designed for preschoolers. Madam Goh shared her views and perception on education of the arts in Singapore, with particular reference to her more than 40 years of teaching experience.
吴丽娟曾为澳洲维多利亚芭蕾舞团的首席舞蹈员；1964 年返 新，隔年与郭宝琨携手创立新加坡表演艺术学院。她毕生献身 于本地的艺术与文化事业，于 1995 年获颁新加坡文化奖。目 前，她是实践剧场的艺术顾问，同时也积极为小朋友发展并督 导新颖创意的教育课程。吴老师能拨冗和大家主要以华语分享 她 40 多年的艺术生涯和经验，实属难能可贵。
