Tutorial: Prophet Rev2 pad with shifting rhythmic pattern

Описание к видео Tutorial: Prophet Rev2 pad with shifting rhythmic pattern

Another Prophet Rev2 tutorial that people have been asking for. This one features one LFO modulating another LFO, resulting in a shifting rhythmic pattern. I start with a super quick example of how to set this up, move on to talk about the sequencer, and then dive deep into the sound design aspects of the patch. Finally, I show an alternative approach to using 2 LFOs, by incorporating the auxiliary envelope.

Original performance of this patch: Jamuary 2020 Day 6    • Jamuary 2020 Day 6: Prophet Rev2

PS: As you may have noticed, I'm not participating in Jamuary this year. However, I will be more active making music in the coming months. Most of that will happen offline, but I'll try to share what I'm working on every now and then.

LIST OF PATCH VALUES
====================

You should start with an initialize patch (or "Basic Program"). I will only list the values that are different from the defaults. The list below is for the patch up to the "alternative approach" (34:15). Some parameters are listed with an exclamation mark (!), indicating that they are interesting to play with during a performance of this patch.

Note: in the part of the video (28:32) where I introduce the filter and amplifier envelopes, I forgot to actually set the amount for the filter envelope, meaning it's ignored. However, it's an interesting and important addition, so I have included it in the parameter values below.
