How to Add Listing Keywords on Amazon || Amazon Listing Generic Keywords || Sell on Amazon India

Do you know how you can rank your product on search page on amazon buyer portal? There are millions of listings already selling on amazon in a single category, so hor to rank your product in the search?
The best way is to put the relevant keywords on your amazon listings. Amazon allows the seller to put some (near 200 characters) relevant keywords or the products synonyms in the listings itself apart from the title description and the bullet points.
These keywords or the search terms or the generic keywords ranks your listing in amazon search.
Amazon says "Provide any terms that may be relevant to customer searches. No repetition, no competitor brand names or ASINs." while entering the generic keywords.

In short generic keywords are the words or the phrases customer calls or searches your product with.

There are some set of rules to fill the listing keywords like;
Stay under length limit.
Include synonyms.
Include spelling variations, no need for misspellings.
Include abbreviations and alternate names.
You can use all lower case.
You do not need punctuation, such as: ";", ":", "-".
Separate words with spaces.
Do not repeat words within the Search Terms field.
No need for stop words, such as “a”, “an”, “and”, “by”, “for”, “of”, “the”, “with”, and so on.
Use singular or plural, no need for both.
